Montpellier! A day off and a night out with the Missus. Maybe the best meal I have ever had in a restaurant here and the black run of cycle touring, the Pyrenees, complete!

Biggest climb yet! Yesterday the Col D’Aubisque. The highest altitude I have ever cycled, and not once did I push my bike!

After entering Spain I cycled for 19 days and covered about 1700km without a day off!

Stage 3 compete! 2094km from Brighton to Santiago! Mountains have been conquered and friends made. This really is starting to turn into the epic adventure I had dreamed of.

Where am I? What is going on? Hopefully from reading this blog you have so far come to some conclusions such as – ‘what is this pillock up too? He obviously has no idea about cycle touring!’
